Dr. Kayia Akoun received her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her Psychiatry Residency Program at the University of Maryland-Sheppard Pratt. She also became a fellow at the McLean Hospital, completing the Women’s Mental Health Psychiatry Fellowship. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry and is a licensed medical doctor through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine, 2020-2021.
Dr. Akoun’s clinical practice is currently at capacity and not receiving new clients at this time.
